Awakening the Dreamer Symposium is a 3-hour program that considers humanity’s options for the future of our world and the links between environmental sustainability, social fair-play and our sense of fulfillment as human beings. With a combination of speakers and beautifully presented videos, the program
invites our wisdom and commitment to become freshly engaged with these concerns. We are asked to explore what each of us can do, both individually and collaboratively, to creatively shift our common future to one of vibrant, thriving sustainability.
GARY ARNSTEIN is a managing partner of a real estate investment and
development firm. Previously, he has been a dentist and an executive
with an international educational seminar company. Gary is married
and has an adult daughter. He has been involved with The Pachamama
Alliance as a volunteer since 1997.
RUEL WALKER is an attorney and psychotherapist who has studied
shamanism and indigenous cultures for about twenty years. He is
currently a part-time staff member of The Pachamama Alliance, with
responsibility for the program that trains persons who would like to
present the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium in their own communities.
He has participated in the research and design of the Symposium for
the last two years.
EVE LIBERTONE works on staff at The Pachamama Alliance as the
Awakening the Dreamer Initiative Coordinator as well as a volunteer
Facilitator for the Symposium and has helped to train other
Facilitators. She holds a Masters of Humanities and Leadership with an
Emphasis is Culture, Ecology and Sustainable Community from New
College of California. She has been a passionate activist for over 16
years in the environmental, animal rights, peace and social justice movements.
