Food as
Medicine
Recent studies recommend whole foods, not dietary supplements for
cancer prevention. Food contains more
than thousand of compounds working
together to provide nutrients for plants
to grow. It provides energy to maintain
life that supplements or medicines
cannot provide. You truly are what
you eat. Our body cells are constantly
changing. Genes can mutate for better
or for worse according to the environment
you create. Balance is the key
for health and happiness. Stay young
and healthy in a natural way, without
Botox or cosmetics.
Linda Hayano is a 79-year-old retired
microbiologist and an organic grower and
processor of Ashitaba. At age of 69 she
decided to grow Ashitaba when she saw her
neighbor cure his gout in one week by eating
fresh Ashitaba. www.ashitabagreen.com. |

It’s Earth Day, 2010—Do You Know Where Your Green Movement Is? |
|
Despite the environment being a rising tide issue that will not be going away, green issues are still a low priority at the national government level and slipping
back to a marginal issue for the media, creating a less urgent status for the big eco challenges in the public’s mindset. And just after we’ve worked so hard to
make our environment front page news! So where do we go from here? The green movement is very diverse, with many different approaches and opinions
about the way forward—but one thing we can all agree on is that we’re quickly running out of time, species, and resources. Join us for a lively discussion!
