Sandy Gordon of the Jewish Study Network (www.jsn.info) spends one weekend each month in Santa Cruz leading spiritual weekend retreats with her husband. Sandy loves the weekly ritual of candle lighting and comes from a long line of women who regularly light Shabbat candles. She has a Masters Degree from Columbia University.

Laura works to establish policy to advance green building in San Francisco; to provide technical support on projects; and to conduct outreach within the residential and commercial communities.

DEBI BARKER is the former executive director and current international director of the International Forum on Globalization (IFG), a North-South think tank that analyses myriad effects of economic globalization and advocates alternative policies that are more equitable and sustainable.
