Julia Butterfly Hill
Live Your Heart's Calling
and Your Spirit's Passion
Sunday 3:30 pm room 1
Spiritual
Activation is more than a thought, ideal, or belief. It
is a way of life. Julia's experience living with the ancient
redwood, Luna, taught her that the hope for our future
lies in "co-creating." Every natural, functioning
system involves symbiotic relationships that honors sacred
diversity through working together to promote health,
beauty, and sustainability. Without a deep, heartfelt
connection to the Sacred, religion, politics, science
or activism is a dying effort, a dying ecosystem of disharmony.
Join Julia to see and articulate what a healthy world
and future look like, and gain insight to the steps necessary
to promote this positive, vibrant vision. Equally important,
you will leave with a renewed inspiration to live your
heart's calling and your spirit's passion.
For
738 days, forest activist Julia Butterfly Hill lived
180-feet high in the canopy of an ancient redwood tree
to help make the world aware of the plight of ancient
forests. A powerful voice for the environment, she recounts
her story in, The Legacy of Luna and in presentations
across the country. While still in Luna's branches she
founded the Circle of Life Foundation to build on the
tremendous outreach begun in the tree.
